These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and any services provided by Bloom Physiotherapy. By accessing this website, booking an appointment, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Bloom Physiotherapy

Bloom Physiotherapy provides paediatric physiotherapy services including, but not limited to:

- Infant and child physiotherapy

- Orofacial and functional physiotherapy

- Feeding, breathing, and oral function support

- Developmental and movement assessments

- Home visit consultations

- Telehealth consultations

- Parent education and support

Services are provided to babies, children, and adolescents, with parents or guardians responsible for consenting to treatment where applicable.

2. Appointments & Bookings

Appointments may be booked online, via email, phone, social media, or other approved booking methods.

A part payment/deposit of $50 may be required to confirm initial appointments. This amount will be deducted from the total consultation fee payable on the day of service.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when booking appointments and completing intake forms.

Bloom Physiotherapy reserves the right to decline or reschedule appointments where necessary.

3. Intake Forms

Relevant intake forms and questionnaires must be completed prior to your appointment.

Failure to complete required forms may result in delays, shortened consultation time, or cancellation/rescheduling of the appointment.

4. Fees & Payments

All fees are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Payment is due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Invoices, itemised receipts, and private health documentation may be provided where applicable. Private health rebates are dependent on your insurer and level of cover, and Bloom Physiotherapy cannot guarantee rebate amounts.

Outstanding invoices may incur reminder notices and recovery action where necessary.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that family circumstances can change unexpectedly.

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to the full consultation fee.

Failure to attend an appointment without notice (“non-attendance”) may result in the full consultation fee being charged.

Bloom Physiotherapy reserves the right to waive cancellation fees at its discretion in cases of illness, emergencies, or exceptional circumstances.

6. Home Visit Appointments

For home visits, clients are responsible for ensuring:

- A safe environment for the practitioner

- Appropriate supervision of children

- Pets are secured where necessary

- Parking access is available where possible

If a practitioner feels unsafe or unable to provide treatment safely, the appointment may be ceased or rescheduled.

Travel fees may apply depending on location and will be communicated prior to booking.

7. Telehealth Services

Telehealth consultations are offered where clinically appropriate.

Clients are responsible for:

- Ensuring adequate internet connection and technology access

- Participating in a safe and suitable environment

- Understanding that technical difficulties may occasionally interrupt sessions

While Bloom Physiotherapy takes reasonable steps to protect privacy during telehealth sessions, electronic communication carries inherent security risks.

8. Scope of Service

Bloom Physiotherapy provides physiotherapy assessment, education, support, and treatment within the practitioner’s professional scope and qualifications.

Services provided:

- Do not replace medical, dental, or emergency care

- Are not intended to diagnose medical conditions outside physiotherapy scope

- May include recommendations for referral to other health professionals where appropriate

Treatment outcomes vary between individuals, and no guarantees can be made regarding specific results.

9. Client Responsibilities

Clients and parents/guardians agree to:

- Provide accurate medical and developmental information

- Inform us of changes to health status

- Follow safety recommendations provided during treatment

- Seek medical advice where recommended

Parents and guardians remain responsible for decisions regarding their child’s healthcare.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.

Personal information collected through appointments, intake forms, or this website is handled in accordance with Australian privacy laws and our Privacy Policy.

By engaging our services, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of relevant personal and health information required to provide care.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, resources, handouts, logos, educational materials, and downloadable resources, remains the property of Bloom Physiotherapy unless otherwise stated.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without prior written permission.

12. Website Use

You agree not to:

- Use this website unlawfully

- Attempt to interfere with website functionality or security

- Reproduce website content without permission

Bloom Physiotherapy may update or modify website content at any time without notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Bloom Physiotherapy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our services or website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights available under Australian Consumer Law.

14. Changes to These Terms

Bloom Physiotherapy reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.

Updated Terms will be published on this website and take effect immediately upon publication.
